The NT4EU project organized, within the Growing Europe final conference, the online workshop “Digitalization: what role can new ICT tools and services play in supporting migrant entrepreneurs?” on the 17th of September. The session was organized and moderated by Diesis Network and saw the participation of the NT4EU’s partner Code Your Future, with its CEO, German Bencci.
The aim of the session was to understand the importance of digitalization in all fields of the economy and in all phases of an enterprise lifecycle. Speakers also shared good practices of programs and activities implementing ICT tools with the aim of supporting migrant entrepreneurs that decide to develop an enterprise in Europe.

German Bencci presented the objectives and the main activities of the NT4EU project. He then showcased the CodeYourFuture program, which is offered in the framework of the NT4EU project and whose objective is to create a future for everyone, migrant and refugees, by providing them with education and employment opportunities in the tech sector.

Among the guest speakers to the session was also present Christian Richmond Nzi and Ibrahim Ouassari who both presented their organizations, Mygrants and Molengeek, and the work they do to support migrants and refugees towards a better future by making IT knowledge and entrepreneurship accessible to everyone.

The panel presentations were followed by a very interesting and interactive debate among the panelists and participants.
