Despite the COVID19 pandemic, the NT4EU project does not stop its activities! We are organizing a virtual workshop on June the 10th at 11 am on how ICT skills can improve migrants and refugees’ labour integration.
New Talents 4 EU project proposes to empower all refugees to program their future, making integration work durably. Market-focused training schemes in informatics, coding, programming skills and enterprises networking have been implemented by the partners of the project across four EU countries, offering a skilled workforce in a demanding sector. The objective is to provide migrant and refugees with high-level skills that may assure them to find a qualified job and integrate them into the communities in which they live.
The goal of this first EU-level virtual workshop is to explore the training schemes that have been implemented by our partners and the results they are obtaining. It will be the opportunity to get first-hand stories of both trainers and participants!
Plus, it will also be the possibility to have an exchange with European level institutional actor(s) about the added-value that such ICT skills can have in migrant and refugee’s labour integration, the EU policy and programme framework and what tools are the EU institutions developing to promote this.
It will also be the chance for interested stakeholders, during parallel work sessions, to ask questions to the project’s partners on how they created the training scheme and its content, and which results these training had on migrants labour integration.
Stay tuned for more information and register HERE!
