The NT4EU project comes to an end in December 2020. In the last two years of the project, the implementing partners – Simplon, CodeYourFuture, Next Step and CO&SO – have developed training for refugees and migrants to provide them with IT skills that would allow them to better integrate the EU labour market.
Diesis Network has studied the implementation and results of these training experiences to build successful replication plan which will allow other actors to replicate this training model in other fields of the economy.
The NT4EU training model developed by the project partners has shown great results. This model was adapted to the national context and needs of the participants. It allowed having positive outcomes despite the differences between the partners, the countries of implementation, the needs of the students, and the COVID-19 pandemic that raised in the middle of the training implementation.
We are confident that the new ICT skills provided to refugees and migrants alongside other language tools and soft skills, will allow them to adapt to and integrate better the European labour market.
This is why we believe in the potential of the NT4EU training model and the benefits of its replicability in other sectors and fields of the economy.
This replication plan will bring the reader through the explanation of the NT4EU model, the development, the implementation, the results of the four national pilot trainings, and on how and in which fields we propose to replicate this model. The document ends with a series of recommendations to who wishes to replicate the NT4EU training model.
