On 10 and 11 October, Diesis met with all the partners of New Talents 4 EU for a mid-project meeting in Florence! We took this opportunity to discuss about all our upcoming activities that will give market-focused training schemes in coding and programming to refugees.
Thanks to Co&So for the great organisation at their venue and to Simplon.co for having chaired this mid-project meeting!
Moreover, Code Your Future has already started to organise trainings in Rome (IT), and will soon start in Manchester (UK). The participants to the trainings are refugees and asylum seekers, as well as disadvantaged adults with very varied backgrounds. The goal of the trainings is to teach how to design, implement, debug, and deploy simple full-stack web applications using Node.js and MongoDB for back-end, and React, HTML5 & CSS for front-end, and Git and GitHub for source control and collaboration.
